Apolakkia is a very small and quiet village located 92 kilometers away from Rhodes city in Rhodes Island . Being close to Lindos, it can be reached by following the Gennadi to Vati highway. The village looks like being surrounded by a ditch. A myth says that its name has comes from lakos (Greek, and this means ditch.

You can approach this beach by following the way downward from Apolakkia to Kattavia. You are also advised to follow the signs. You can have a shower along with a parking area. This place does not carry any other services.
