How To Uncover The Prettiest Look In The Bathroom

There is one room in the house where we can let our imaginations run riot with decorations and that is in the bathroom. In this room we do not have to be concerned with current fashions or color combinations and where our artistic abilities will come to the fore. Fabric Shower Curtains, for example, lend themselves to some great artwork and even Shower Curtain Rods can be mixed and matched in with the material the overall effect.

Indeed, there are so many designs in materials that can be used in the bathroom that anyone would find it difficult to work out which one is suitable. Clever people will pick a color combination which means that they can ring the changes by putting up different looks and finishes every few weeks or so. Picking out two to three signature colors and then buying the drapes and screens in the same color ways will certainly keep everyone guessing as to what they may find next.

For example, some people love the zebra stripe designs or animal prints which seem to very popular these days. If these colors are stuck to, perhaps with a second drape that has a black and white print of a favorite city like Venice for example, the family will not know if they are going to Africa or Europe every time they need to use this room. Spicing up the look with the relevant greenery will also add to the overall effect with palms for the African designs and lilies or some other structural plants for the city look. What a cool way to keep on changing the look occasionally.

For those who just love their college or university, this can be represented very easily by showing the favorite sport of the college or the name and logo of the college itself. Even favorite football teams are represented so for any sports mad member of the family, decking out their bathroom with the appropriate images would be a great surprise for them.

For travelers who love to always be on the move, or at least to dream of being on the move there are those designs which represent several different cities or even continents. Even pictures of known landmarks are available and these can range from London Bridge to the Brooklyn Bridge and several other stops in between. Venice seems to be a favorite of the more romantic amongst us so consider getting some materials with a gondola or the canals artistically displayed across them.

Lastly, for anyone who gets stuck and does not want anything too fussy in what could be the smallest room in the house, try going oriental with a material printed that looks like something from China or Japan. A touch of greenery here and there, perhaps a bonsai or two, and the look could be wonderfully chic. As long as the towels also follow the same color ways, the room will indeed look larger and less cluttered if these usually clear lines are followed.
